"Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening." -Coco Chanel

Tech Talk Tuesday- Tuesday, July 23, 2013

Hello and happy Tuesday! Today I wanted to share another iPhone case that is another absolute favorite of mine.

Today's case is my melted ice cream case that I purchased from Amazon.com. It is teal and salmon colored and it is a two piece case. It is super easy to put on and take off of my iPhone and it is super durable and protective.

The reason why I chose to show you this case today is because it is a very summery/springy case and I find that retail stores don't have that many choices for summer iPhone 4 cases.

If you are ever looking for a cute and inexpensive phone case, no matter the model of age of your phone, you should peruse around eBay.com and Amazon.com for the most adorable and affordable cases. Remember, you don't have to be rich to be fashionable.

I hope you liked today's case! Until next Tuesday! -FashionistaForever<3

Crazy Closets is back!

Hello lovelies! I have a surprise for you all! My Crazy Closets segment is back and for a limited time only! I know how cheesy that sounds, almost infomercial like, but it is true! I told you all at the start of this blog that I would show you different sized closets and then my own. I showed you three different sizes of closets I believe, but I did not do a post about MY closet :)

I recently decided to reorganize my closet and I figured that I should do a before and after post to show you all, my lovely readers, just how easy it is to get organized.

So, without further adieu, here is my closet! Well the first two racks of it anyway...I haven't completely finished organizing my closet. I will make another post once everything is organized :)

Rest In Peace Talia

It is with a heavy heart that I write this post for you all to see. Talia Joy Castellano, an amazing 13 year old girl/makeup guru, lost her battle with cancer today at 11:22 am. She was an amazing little girl who touched so many hearts. Please take a moment in your day to bow your head and say a prayer for her mother and sister that have survived her. Talia, you will be missed! Even though you are in heaven, I know you will "just keep swimming." We will always love and remember you <3

Tech Talk Tuesday!- Tuesday, July 16, 2013

Hello and happy Tuesday! In last Wednesday's post, I said that I would be starting an all new segment today. And after a week of waiting, here it is! This new segment is about, you guessed it, tech accessories! Every Tuesday I will be posting one of my favorite tech accessories. I was going to post a picture of my entire collection, but I figured it would ruin the excitement of seeing a new tech accessory each Tuesday.

So today I will be starting this Tech Talk Tuesday off with my favorite iPhone 4 case. This is the case I use most on my phone. It is super cute, super durable, and I love it!

I purchased this case from Amazon.com for $3.50 with free shipping. This case did not come with a tool to remove it from my phone so it is not that easy to get off of my phone. But, it is super cute and it goes with a lot so it is okay to keep it on for longer than a day. Also, this phone case is super durable! It has not yet lost a gem (and I have had this case since January) and I have dropped it several times and it has protected my phone without leaving a single scratch on both the phone and the case.

I love this case because it is super girly and sparkly, yet it has a meaning to me. The lamb on the case represents when I was in FFA and I raised my first lamb, Lady Baa Baa (awesome name, I know). The rhinestones on this case also made me think of her because she could not stay away from anything that sparkled. Unfortunately I had to sell her, but I was still able to have the memories of her with me by having this phone case on my phone.

This is only one of my 20+ cases, so make sure to keep up with this segment every Tuesday to see a new case every day! Until next time! -FashionistaForever<3

DIY Jewelry!

Have you ever seen a piece of jewelry in the store that you just couldn't afford? Or even a piece of jewelry that looks like it is something you could make and you don't want to pay the high retail price for it? If you have experienced either of these, you could try making your own jewelry!

Don't know where to start? It's easy! Just go to your local craft store and go to the beading and jewelry department and ask one of the sales associates for advice on what you will need to purchase in order to start making your own jewelry.

I'm not going to explain how to make each of these pieces on this post, but I will tell you where each thing came from and how cute each of them are!

The first necklace is an adorable classy looking necklace with gold details. I purchased a pear chain from Hobby Lobby and the bottom part with the clear and turquoise beads is also from Hobby Lobby. I love this necklace because it is super cute and edgy with a hint of classiness. I absolutely love the turquoise beads! They add just the right amount of color to an outfit.

The second necklace is a mod-chique black and white necklace that I put together from a chain purchased from Hobby Lobby and the bottom floral peice I also purchased from Hobby Lobby. I love this necklace because it is three dimentional and the black and white flowers are perfect for a pop of a nutral color for any outfit.

This last necklace is smaller and more simple, but the geometrical shapes in three different colors is sure to give any outfit a fun flare of color and shape. I purchased the chain from Hobby Lobby (yes all of the chains and main pieces are pre-made) and the center piece from Michael's. I absolutely love this necklace because of its fun and funky style!

All three of these pieces cost me a total of $13. These necklaces would have cost me over $30 to purchase pre-made from any retail store.

I am so happy that I have shared my DIY jewelry secrets with you! I hope you all enjoyed!
