Topsy-Turvy Trend Thursday- Thursday, June 27, 2013

Hello! I hope you all have read my previous announcement about "Topsy-Turvy Trend Tuesdays" turning into "Topsy-Turvy Trend Thursdays." I hope that you all will understand that this change was made for the best. It was made to both better this segment and to heighten your level of enjoyment when reading this segment. It does take me some time to look up some of the craziest trends that are going on in today's society, so I hope that this extra time will allow me to find some strange and unique trends for you all to see and enjoy.

Today's trend is the newly seen trend brought to us from Japan. This trend is patterned leggings and tights. These tights can range from a small cat face design at the spot where the kneecap should be (otherwise known as tattoo tights) to the strange and extreme space leggings that are being seen all over the world. These tights can be found in almost any pattern available! However, where to find them is another story. It is rare to see these tights in a store, but it is possible. I have seen the space leggings in stores like Forever21 and Q. The other printed tights and leggings are a bit harder to purchase. You would either have to order them from an online store that carries them or travel all the way to Japan to purchase a pair. If any of you are interested in purchasing a pair of these tights, I will post a link or two below.

I hope that you have enjoyed this segment today! I know I sure have! Until next Thursday x -FashionisaForever<3

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my ever-so-fabulous mother's birthday! This means that I will not be posting a lot today. No offense  to you, my lovely readers, but I would rather spend this special day with my family than being hunched over my iPad, blogging away. Everything that will post today is on an automatic schedule, so please don't think that I am just too lazy to get on and blog. Thank you all for understanding!

Lots of love! -FashionistaForever<3

Shop-happy Sunday

So today my family and I all went to the new outlet mall to see what stores and deals they had. We arrived at the mall to see that all of the stores were to be considered "upper class" stores. And me having a "champagne taste on a beer budget" could not afford much of what was for sale at these fancy stores. My favorite stores to glance at were Michael Kors, Coach, Charlotte Russe, and GUESS. But of course, I can't go to a mall without getting something. So I went in to the Old Navy outlet and browsed around, eventually selecting a few things to try on. I ended up purchasing the items below. Two pairs of flip flops and a coral tank top. I never like to say this about a mall, but that outlet mall was the absolute WORST outlet mall I have ever been to. Alright, enough ranting, I am just glad that I found a few things to add to my closet :)

Until next time! -FashionistaForever<3

And no, they do not have Dr. Pepper cologne, sorry boys.

What is the difference between aftershave and cologne?

Scent-sational Sunday! Sunday, June 23, 2013

Hello and congratulations for making it through the week! Today is Sunday, June 23, 2013 and it is a glorious day! Today is the first day that I have had off at work all week! It's too bad that Sunday feels like the shortest day of the week :(

Even though Sundays feel slow, short, and suckish I am going to try to make the best of it by introducing you to my all-time favorite scent. It is a scent that can still be purchased in stores, so if you think that it would suit you (based on my short description) go try it out and see if it is the scent for you!

Today's scent is called Love Spell. I purchased this body spray from Victoria's Secret for, I believe, $22. I know it sounds like a lot to spend on a body spray, but it is my absolute favorite spray, I use it every single day! I had a previous perfume that smelled just like Love Spell, but it was discontinued. Distraught  by this news, I went on a long search for something that smelled similar but not too strong. The previous perfume and Love Spell have the scents of cherry blossom, pear and a hint of apple. My skin can not handle scents that our flowery or musky, so I have to wear fruity or light scents.

Now that I have shared my all-time favorite body spray with you all, I hope that each of you will decide to become a little bold and try out some new scents. Who knows, you might even find one that you will end up loving forever!

I hope you enjoyed today's segment. Enjoy your Sunday! -FashionistaForever<3

Shoe-tastic Saturday! Saturday, June 22, 2013

Okay, okay.  I know this is cutting it a tad late, but I wanted to be able to share a pair of my favorite shoes with you this week. I know that the shoes that I have been showing are not exactly shoes for this season, but they are my all-time favorite and I feel that I need to share their beauty with you, my lovely readers. So without further adue, here we go!

This week's pair of shoes are a pair of plum ankle boots with gold zippers and 3 3/4 inch heels. The were bought at Forever21 for the astonishing price of $17.95! These shoes were originally priced at $39.95. The minute I saw these shoes, I knew they would soon be mine. Unfortunately, I found them when they were being sold at the original price and I was broke. So I waited a month or two and returned to the store with hopes that they were still there. Lonebehold they were sitting on the clearance shelf, in perfect condition, and in my size! I knew that these shoes were meant to be, and so after the long two months of waiting, I bought the shoes and took them home, only to find the perfect spot for them to be displayed in my closet.

I hope that you all aren't too disapointed with today's segment. I promise that I will make it up to you next Saturday. Maybe I will even show you not one but TWO pairs of my alltime favorite shoes....

Until next time! -FashionistaForever<3

Fashion Find Friday! Friday, June 21, 2013

I know, I'm a terrible blogger. I keep forgetting to blog :( I have been trying to think of a few ways that would make remebering to blog every day easier, one of these ways is scheduling future blog posts, and the other is making my fashion finds segment a Friday only statement. Now, I know I probably won't stick with only showing you lovely people my fashion finds soley on Fridays, but I am going to attempt to do so. Today I will be showing you a few items that I have tried on or bought today at JCPenny. So, without further adue, here we go!

I woke up super early today so I decided to go shopping for a few hours before work. So I stood in the mini line to get into JCPenny (this was the small pre-opening line). The banners labeled "SHOP!", "SALE!", and "CLEARANCE" screamed for me to admire each peice of discounted clothing. How can one resist the fine smell of retail in the morning? I sure know that I can't. The two items seen in the picture below were the first two items I tried on. The button-down tank top in the blue and green cheetah print was adorable and afordable, unfortunately, I did not think that it looked right with the glow of my paper white skin. The blue v-neck t-shirt in this picture was something that I was so glad to find. For some reason, I have the hardest time finding the basics. This blue is my absolute favorite shade of blue. It really makes my eyes pop and the color of the shirt makes my hair look brighter and more shiny. This shirt actually made me think of a future segment for my blog. It will be titled "What Works with Your Body?" if you are interested in reading it. Anyways, back to this segment...I fell in love with this blue shirt and another more elegant black and yellow-green babydoll tank top. I did not want to include this shirt in these pictures because I was planning on revealing it on the next Fashion Find Friday.

Well, I have to head to work now, I hope you all have a fabulous Friday! -FashionistaForever<3

Makeup Monday (Continued)- Monday, June 17, 2013

(continuation of Makeup Monday- Monday, June 17, 2013)

The bottom section of my cabootle holds all of my eyeshadows and blushes. I can't recall where I got most of it, but the one pallet with the greys and purples I got at Target and it is a Maybelene pallet. I believe it was around $4 in price. The shimmery pallet to the left of it I got at the Dollar Tree by my house, I believe is is NYC eyeshadow. Above that pallet is a pot of blush from Ulta in "Bashful Blush" pink. Next to the pot of blush is my loose eye shadow from Hot Topic and it is in the color "Midnight Mischief". This is a special edition glittery silver loose powder that was for Twilight: New Moon. It was the color worn by Dakota Fanning, who played Jane in the movie New Moon.  Next to that is a shade stick from Neutrogena. I believe this particular blue shade was about $7.

I also have another case of potted eyeshadow, most of it is from Ulta or Sephora.

The last kit of eyeshadow that I own is a kit I got from Ulta, this kit was $19 on sale and it was originally $65. This entire kit is all eyeshadow and liquid pots of eyeliner. The lid also came imbedded with 5 different colored eyeliners and two different eyeshadow brushes. I absolutely love this kit because it has nearly every color possible and it is portable!

Well, until next Monday makeup lovers! I hope you enjoyed this segment! -FashionistaForever<3

Makeup Monday- Monday, June 17, 2013

Happy Monday everyone! Today is the first day of my new segment, Makeup Monday! I decided to do this segment for all of the makeup lovers out there. After all, makeup is a large part of fashion. To start this segment off I will be showing you, my readers, my makeup collection. Yes, I do have a lot of makeup, and no, I did not buy it all at one time. I have been collecting makeup for about 4 years. I will not be dissecting each peice in my makeup collection, but I will tell you about a few of my favorite brands that you can see. Each Monday I will post a different makeup design and a picture of the products I used. I hope you all will enjoy seeing my collection! Maybe it will inspire you to try out some of the brands I use.

So this first picture is of my e.l.f. (eyes, lips, face) pallet. I got this about a week ago at Big Lots for $9.95, it was originally priced $15 at Target. I love this pallet because it has the bright spring/summer colors that are hard to find in any other pallets. I believe it has 100 different shades of eyeshadow in this pallet.

This next picture is of the top part of my caboodle (makeup carry case.) The top compartment of my caboodle holds all of my lipsticks (for the exception of the two I use daily) and a few of my favorite lip-glosses from Sephora and Ulta. The bright pink tube is Maybelene's Baby Lips in the color Grapefruit Pink. The silver tube is Wet & Wild's Precious Pink lip color, you can get these at Walmart, Ulta, Target, or any other drug store. Next to the silver tube is my MAC Viva Glam by Lady Gaga lipstick in a bright pink color. This MAC lipstick was limited edition and it came in a nude color as well as the pink color. The other lipsticks came in a kit from Sephora.

I keep my eyeliners and makeup brushes in the compartment below the lipstick compartment. None of my eyeliners are visible for the exception of the three liquid glitter liners on the far right side of the compartment. At the very top of the compartment I have my two favorite brushes, one is an eyeshadow brush and the other is a defining brush. Both brushes were bought at Big Lots and they are both the brand e.l.f. The two sparkly eyeshadow brushes are also the brand e.l.f. but they were bought at Target  during Christmas time. The rest of the brushes in the compartment came in a kit from Sephora. (continued on next post...)

New Addiction!

Attention my fabulous readers! I have a new addiction! I know what most of you are thinking...great, something new that she will never keep up. But that is not true! It is something I really would like to share with you all! It is a website called Walk In My Closet. It is a virtual closet that you can use to create outfits without even opening the doors to your closet. This amazing invention also allows one to sell their clothes and accessories on this website once they tire of them. It's basically a closet organizer, e-bay, and Pintrest all in one! If you are interested, I will post a link below for you all to check it out!

Happy Father's Day!

Just wanted to wish all the dads out there (past, present or future) a happy Father's Day! Today I won't be posting much due to this special holiday. Instead I will be taking my dad shopping and out to dinner. Yes, I said shopping. My dad is surprisingly one of the cool dads that like to shop and go out, so why not take him out today for his special day? I encourage you to make your dad or father figure feel special today. After all, they are only celebrated one day out of the year! I hope you all have a marvelous day! And again, happy Father's Day!

Scent-sational Sunday! - Sunday, June 16, 2013

Hello my lovelies! Today is Sunday, and as always, it is a drag. That's why I have started my segment, Scent-Sational Sunday! In these segments I will post a picture and a description of my favorite scent at the moment. This Sunday, I decided to do something a little different. Instead of showing you one scent, I will be showing you my entire collection! Shocking, I know. Again, I have been collecting these scents for a long time, I did not just  go crazy and buy these scents in one day.
I hope you all like my collection and I hope this can inspire you to find a scent that suits you!

Here is a picture of my over all collection of lotion.

Crazy, I know... But these are some of my absolute favorite scents! All of these lotions were bought at the same magical place, Bath & Bodyworks. Although the little cup area, towards the front of the picture, does not hold lotion, it holds my favorite hand sanitizers from Bath & Bodyworks.

This next picture is of my perfume collection. It contains all of the perfumes I own (for the exception of the one I use every day.) Here is a quick peek for you all to see!

Now, I'm not going to tell you about each of them now. If I did there would be no future Scent-Sational Sundays to look forwards to. BUT, I will let yo try to figure out what each one is and where they are from.

Enjoy! -FashionistaForever<3

Shoe-tastic Saturday!- Saturday, June 15, 2013

Today is Saturday, the day of fun and fabulousness! Today I am starting a segment in my blog that will declare every Saturday, Shoe-tastic Saturday!  In this segment I will introduce a pair of designer shoes and a simmilar look that you can own for less! I am all about being stylish while saving money, and I want you, my lovely readers, to embrace your inner fashionista and find today's trends for less!

These shoes that I have chosen for you all today are some gorgeous red satin Steve Madden heels with golden studded heels and straps. These are some pretty snazzy shoes that will run you about $210.

Why pay that much for a single pair of shoes when you can get almost the same pair of shoes from ASOS for only $76? The style, color, and studs are similar. A way you can think of this is which would you like to have, the $210 shoes on your feet and no money in your pocket or the $76 shoes on your feet and over $134 in your pocket?

Next time you shop, try to think savy. I hope you enjoyed this segment! Shop savy ladies! -FashionistaForever<3

Clothing Haul!

I am so sorry that this was so delayed! I finally am able to sit down for a short while to type up this segment for the first time in a while. So without further adieu here is the recent clothing haul I went on!

A few days ago I went to my local mall to explore this season's semi-annual sales. In my opinion, the stores that were having the best sales were Bath & Bodyworks, Victoria's Secrets, and H&M. And of course, those are the stores that I spent the most money in. All together I bought 5 shirts, 1 dress, 1 necklace, 2 purses, 2 perfumes, and 3 bottles of lotion.

At the first store I hit, Bath & Body Works, I spent $9.48 (tax included) and bought over $50 worth the products! The spray bottle in the back of the picture on the left side is the scent "Country Apple". It is a retired scent and this bottle would originally cost you $12 and I bought it for the amazing price of $3! The bottle of lotion in front of the apple scented spray is called "Honey Sweetheart". It was originally $11 and I got it for 75% off which came to be about $2.29. The bottle of lotion across from the "Honey Sweetheart" lotion is called "Capri Seaside Citrus." This bottle of lotion retails for $11 and I got it for free (due to me exchanging and complaining about the "Venice Dulce Berry" lotionI received  as a gift.) The spray beind the citrus lotion is called "Berry Flirt" body mist. This bottle of spray originally costs $14 and I bought it for $3.78. I really wanted to get this spray because I recently ordered the "Berry Flirt" lotion and hand sanitizer online from them.

The next store that I went to was H&M. There I got a lot of 'bang for my buck.' Overall I spent $53 dollars even, but I ended up using a $25 gift card which made the total come up to about $36 with tax. This is where I purchased 4 out of the 5 shirts, the dress, and the necklace. The green shirt with the bejeweled shoulders was originally $19.95, but I purchased it for $10! The striped razor-back tank  to the right of the green shirt was the only piece of clothing I bought at the original retail price of $12.95. Below the green shirt is a black printed zipper-back tank that was originally $19.95 and I purchased it for the outstanding price of $5!!! The black v-neck laced shouldered shirt next to the printed tank was originally priced at $15.95 and it was purchased at the sale price of $7! The last piece of clothing purchased at H&M was this blue cheetah printed dress with a majorly cut out back. This dress was originally $29.95 and I bought it for the amazing price of $10! The necklace that was purchased at H&M is the necklace seen lying on top of the black v-neck top. This necklace was originally $11.95 and I purchased it for $7.

Victoria's Secret can be a rather expensive store, that is unless you go to their amazing Semi-Annual Sale! There I purchased an ASU shirt by Pink, to be worn at school in the fall, for $22.34 (with tax). This shirt would have originally cost me $39.59. I also got a free pair of Pink panties (originally priced $10.50), due to this amazing app I purchased for FREE on my iPad. This app is called PINK Nation. On this app, it has a slots-like game which allows you to play 25 times a day to try to get a free panty! I found out (from a little snooping on the app) that you don't even have to play to win! Just click the FREE PANTY link next to the controller for the game. I HIGHLY suggest you getting this app and trying this for yourself!

Today I ended this week's shopping extravaganza by stopping in at my nearby Target to look around at the clothing an accessories. And to my surprise they had an amazing clearance rack which lead to me purchasing two purses, both for only $5.98 each (both were originally priced at $19.98)!!!

Nothing beats a day of shopping thrifty and getting the most for your money! I hope this will encourage you, my readers, to get past the summer heat and head out to your local mall to find out what deals they have going on that will benefit both your closet AND your wallet.

Until next time! Stay fashionable my friends! -FashionistaForever<3

I Know, I Know...I'm a Dissapointment

Hello! First things first, I am so sorry for not posting for the last two days! I have been super busy with real life, work, and of course...shopping! My local malls have been having their semi-annual sales and I have been rolling in the dough from working so much, so why not go spend a bit of that hard earned money on myself? Unfortunately I will not be able to show you everything I bought right now, but I will have a separate post about all of the fabulous items I bought and I will try to post it tonight right after I get out of work. Thank you all for understanding! I will definately post again tonight!

Crazy Closets- Day 3

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today I have chosen to do a different approach on a closet. I am simply going to list things that the person that designed this closet did to make this closet more functional. I'm going to let you, my fabulous readers, decide which way you like me to do this segment. Just post a comment below telling me whether you like the old style or the new style. Alright, enough blabbering, let the listing begin!

Today's closet is much larger than those shown in the previous two segments. So for those of you with a closet this size, it would be beneficial to compare your unorganized closet with this one so that you can find little organizational skills that can work with you and your closet.

List of Pros
  • Color organized
  • Organized by type of clothing
  • Spacious
  • Well displayed
  • Hanging storage
  • Overhead Storage

Again, please let me know what you think of the new style of this segment! Happy organizing!

Fashion Find of the Day- Tuesday, June 11, 2013

Hello my lovelies! I hope you are all enjoying my blogging so far. Today I am going to post two more pictures of my favorite peices of clothing/accessories in my wardrobe. My wardrobe contains a lot of shoes and jewelry, so I think I will keep posting two pictures every day, one of a pair of shoes and the other a favorite piece of jewelry.

Today's shoes are from XXI, otherwise known as Forever21. They are a size 10 and they are 5 inch open-toed platform heels. The bottom half containing the platform and heel is a khaki colored suade. The top part that covers the top of the foot, from toe to ankle, is a khaki colored faux-leather. I love these shoes because they can be worn with jeans, leggings, shorts or even a fun dress. These shoes were originally $35.95 and I got them at an extra 50% off clearance sale for  $7.75. Nothing like getting the cutest fashions for less than 75% of the original price!

Today's earrings I made myself a few days ago. The charms that make up the base of the earrings I got at Hobby Lobby. The findings I used to put the earrings together are from Michael's or Joann's Craft and Fabric store. These earrings cost me about $4 to make. I love these earrings because they are super cute and they are very unique from something you would see in stores. Making your own jewelry will embrace your creative side and will generally be cheaper than purchasing jewelry at a clothing or accessory store.

Crazy Closets- Day 2

Today is day two of my crazy closets segment. This post, like the others, will be discussing the elements of organization and design that make this closet so functional and easy to use. Today's closet will be a slightly bigger closet than the one from yesterday's segment. I will continue to post different sized closets to give you, my readers, different ideas about how you can organize and store your clothing and accessories, no matter the size of your storage!

This picture is of a partial closet, meaning that it has less storage for hanging clothes and more storage for folded clothes or for displaying shoes and accessories. Starting at the bottom right of the closet, we see small wicker baskets which could be used to hold either socks, underwear, swimsuits, sunglasses, or even flip flops. Above the baskets is a shelf used for towels. It could also be used for folded jeans, shorts, shirts, or tracksuits. Above that shelf is another shelf, this shelf is used for displaying fun sunglasses and makeup/makeup bags. This person decided to use it for displaying things, but it also could be used for storage purposes. The three shelves above the display shelf are sued for folded clothing storage. The very top shelves look like they are used for displaying shoes and holding large beach bags or gym bags.

Moving to the top left of the closet, you see two cute bags, one looks like a tote and the other a makeup carrier. This storage idea allows you to display your favorite bags yet keep them in a neat and tidy space. Below the bags you see one rack/pole used to hang skirts, shorts, and purses. If you have more clothing than the amount shown in this picture, I would suggest hanging shirts, jeans, shorts, and skirts for a better usage of this space. Underneath the rack is another set of shelves used for shoe display and storage. On the top of the first shelf is a pink bucket-like container used for cutely storing flip flops.

Keep in mind, this is a slightly smaller and harder way of organizing clothes, but if you have a strange space like this, you can use these storage ideas to keep your clothes tidy and organized. If you have any fun storage ideas e-mail them to me and they might just be displayed for all to see on this segment! Send your e-mails to fashionistaforeverkj@gmail.com along with your storage ideas and name for it to be displayed on my blog!

Happy organizing! -FashionistaForever<3

Topsy-Turvy Trends Tuesday!

Today is the start of a fun and exciting tradition on my fabulous blog! Today is the start of "Topsy-Turvy Tuesday"! This means that every Tuesday I will share different strange or outrageous trends that are being seen today.

This Tuesday I will start with a trend most people are familiar with, tribal print. I can understand having key pieces in you outfit be in tribal print such as a shirt or leggings, but not the entire outfit! If this does not appall you, and you find yourself being one of these people obsessed with this print, I would suggest toning it down slightly with a solid shirt or solid leggings (depending on what half of your body you are wanting to be tribal print.) I would also suggest wearing shiny silver or gold accessories so that they can stand out and not blend in with the already crazy pattern.

Crazy Closets- Day 1

In my last post, Clothing Displays Gone Crazy!, I told you, my readers, that I would be posting a new organized closet picture every day and I would be dissecting the elements that make each closet clutter free and usable. Today I am going to start by using a smaller closet, for those of you that have less closet space to work with.

The closet below is much smaller than the average closet in houses today. It has less shelving and clothing storage than the closets I will be displaying the next few days. This closet  has a lot of floor space and the owner and designer of this closet space used it to their advantage. To the bottom right of the picture, there is a medium hight shoe rack which is used to both cutely display jeans, shorts and folded shirts. If you like this organizational idea but you do not want to use it to display jeans and shorts you could use it to cutely display shoes or just to hold  a large amount of shoes. To the left of this rack are some cute storage boxes that can be used as both decorations and boxes to hold items that can range from bathing suits, underwear, sunglasses, flip flops, or any personal items you do not want seen if the closet is open. To the left of the cute boxes are some clear storage containers that could be used for jean or short storage, folded shirts, or even extra shoe storage.

Above the clear storage boxes are some smaller clear storage boxes that could be used for anything small like scarves, underwear, or swimsuits. The large ornate frame looking thing is actually a jewelry board which is used to hold and display jewelry. This frame idea is great because it allows easy access to your jewelry and you can easily pair it with clothes without taking it off the board. Above the jewelry board is a pole that is used to hang clothes off of. The key thing with this particular example is that there is not too much clothing on the rack so it does not look too cluttered. At the very top of the closet is a shelf that has more decorated storage boxes for anything they wish to keep hidden or don't have room to display.

If you have more clothes than this closet pictures, I would wait to see the next few closets displayed over the next few days.

Clothing Displays Gone Crazy!

Whether you have a closet, dresser, or wardrobe, you know how you like your clothes and accessories to be displayed and stored. When planning on how to store or display your clothes, you should ask yourselves the following questions. Is it possible that your closet or storage design reflects your personality? What if you could find a way for your clothing displays to portray the ideal person that you want to be?  How much room do I have to work with? All of these questions sound like they can drive you mad, but they are questions that one must think about before messing with their already crazily organized closets. What if you were to have a method to your maddness? A method that would change your life, and closet, forever?

Take a look at this cluttered closet below. What do you see? How does this closet make you feel? If you feel saddened or stressed out by this closet, or somewhat guilty for the owner of this closet you are thinking the right way about the storage of clothing and accessories.

Does your closet somewhat look like this one? Does your closet make you stressed out or sad?  Do you feel like you could leave your closet doors open and feel alright about it's presentation to the world? If your answer to these questions is no, you need to rethink the design of  your closet space.

These changes do not have to be tearing out the walls of your closet. For example, you can simply organize your clothes by color, Do you feel like you could leave your closet doors open and feel alright about it's presentation to the world?  of clothing, or size. Just by making a few small changes, your closet could become something that you are proud of and happy to look at.

For the next few days I will post a picture of a well organized closet and I will dissect each of the elements that makes it a closet to be proud of. After these tips, you could have a completely made over closet, one that you will never want to hide.

Fashion Find of the Day! - Monday, June 10, 2013

Okay, so seeing that my blog is about fashion, I am going to post a fashion find of the day every day for the rest of the year (if I can remember to do so)! So today I have a treat for you, my lovely readers. I will try to post one or two photos showing you my two favorite pieces in my wardrobe. Today I have chosen to show you my newest pair of heels and my newest pair of earrings (which I made with my own two hands)! Here we go!!!

So these are my newest heels, they are the brand X-Appeal and I found them at Rack Room Shoes for $15.99. They were originally priced $49.99. They are a size 9 1/2 and they are about 3.5-4 inches tall.
They are black with purple, pink, yellow and white flowers on it. They also have a hint of green in them due to the vines and leaves connecting the flowers. They are made out of a cloth like material and they have a rounded toe and a somewhat pointy heel.

These are the earrings I made a few days ago. They are silver, metal skeletons in white dresses with a black bow around the dress. I bought the charms that make up the base of the earring at Hobby Lobby and the findings and such that I used to put the earrings together I got from Michael's or Joann's Craft  and Fabric store. I am so in love with the way they turned out! They are about 1.5-2 inches in length and they dangle.
