Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I know, I know....it has been absolutely FOREVER since I had last posted something on here! I feel so guilty about slacking out on you all :( College courses and work are the only things I have had time for over the last few months, but thankfully we are now getting into the holidays, which means that I will (hopefully) be blogging up a storm over the next few months! Yayyyyy!

Well, first things first, happy Turkey-Day/Hanukkah (Day 1) to everyone! I am so thankful for my health, education (yes, school), family, and friends...and of course you all! I hope you all will beenjoying the day and will be spending it with family and friends.  I will be heading two hours away from home to a family gathering at my grandmother's house and following Thanksgiving dinner we will be starting our crazy adventure of Black Friday shopping (which will of course be summed up in its own post)!

I won't be posting very often today on my Blogger account, but I will be constantly posting on my Twitter which I will link below.

Turkey-Day Challenge: Tweet me/comment you answers below! "What are a few things that you all do on Thanksgiving?" "What are you thankful for?"  I can't wait to read your responses! Hope you all have a very happy Turkey-Day!!!

Scarf It Up! #2

Hello my lovelies! I am back to give you all the post that follows my very last blog post, Scarf It Up! #1. I just wanted to say, before I get started, how happy I am that I get to share all of my fantastic fashion finds with you all and be able to share and let my passion for fashion show. You, my readers, mean so much to me, more than you know! I hope that you all enjoy my posts, ranting, and hauls and are eager to see the ones I have planned for the future.

Enough about that, let's get to the scarves! This is the post about the second sale that I took advantage of at Charming Charlie. The $9 Pashmina sale! Yayy!

So I went a little crazy at this sale...Normally I purchase one or two items when they are a part of a huge sale like this but, I surprisingly went overboard and purchased not one, not two...but FOUR pashmina scarves!!!

My total at the register came to $36....I know what you're thinking....$36 for four FABULOUS scarves?!?! Yes! I speak the truth!

Now if you don't think that this is a steal, take a look at these GORGEOUS scarves!

*The four scarves at the bottom are the ones I purchased :) *

I hope you all enjoyed these past two posts! I have a few more posts that I can't wait to upload in the future, so keep an eye out for them! Until next time! -FashionistaForever<3

Scarf It Up! #1

Sooo...I went shopping again...and this time for fall accessories. I decided that I needed to purchase some new scarves for the upcoming fall and winter seasons. I traveled near and far to find the perfect scarves for this very fashionable season and I finally found some!

Charming Charlie was the answer to my prayers. After going through the store, I noticed that there were a few small sales going on. Sales that would greatly impact my closet and my new fall wardrobe.

Even though there were two amazing sales, I could only take advantage of one at a time (or at least until I got my next paycheck). So..I took advantage of the 2 for $20 deal on their nicer and more luxurious scarves, seeing that the deal had been going on for a week or so prior to me visiting Charming Charlie.

I purchased a long fire-engine red scarf that is soooo soft and luxiourious! I couldn't believe it was one of the scarves included in the 2 for $20 deal. The second scarf I purchased was the first scarf that caught my eye that day. It was a black, red, and white British-like scarf with English cars and such on it. Even though it is a shorter scarf, I am soo happy that I found something so adorable that could be included in the deal.

Below are the two amazing scarves that were purchased for the 2 for $20 deal. The other scarves that were purchased the following day will be shown in a later post titled, "Scarf It Up! #2."

I hope you all enjoy reading about my shopping excursions and my fun fashion finds! If you have any ideas of what you all want me to write about next, just post it below! Until next time my lovelies!

Mini Jewelry Haul! - Fall Jewelry!

Soo I know my last post was about purchasing jewelry, butttt I couldn't help myself and I purchased a few more pieces.

I went to my local mall yesterday and I browsed around Forever21 and Charming Charlie and I found a few adorable pieces of jewelry that I new would be perfect for this fall's fashion.

The three items above, are from Forever21. The chartreuse heart studs may not be in season this year, but I was in desperate need of some chartreuse earrings that matched one of my statement necklaces. The gold leaf necklace I felt would be perfect for fall 2013 fashion because it is simple and it is the perfect gold accent to any outfit. The gold cross studded studs I purchased to go with one of my t-shirt tanks that has gold studded shoulders (I know it is hard to visualize, so I will be posting the outfits and such in a later post). Each of these pieces were only $1.50 a piece.

The bottom two pairs of earrings I purchased from Charming Charlie (yes, from their clearance section...shhh). The burnt red dangle earrings I felt were a perfect crisp autumn color to accent any fall outfit. The black and white flower earrings with a gold accent I felt would go with absolutely every black or white piece of clothing in my closet. Each of these pieces were $3.99 each.

I hope you enjoyed seeing, yet again, another mini jewelry haul. Until next time! -FashionistaForever<3

Jewelry Haul!

Hello my lovelies! I'm sorry I haven't been keeping up with my blog. I've been super duper busy with homework, exams, work, and school in general. But, I can somehow always find ways to shop throughout the week. After all, my school is only 10 minutes away from the mall.

So as most of you know, I have a major addiction to jewelry and accessories in general. So when I came across a new store called Glitter, I couldn't resist. Especially after I found out all of their makeup, hair accessories, and jewelry were $1 each! Yes, only $1!!! So in a nutshell, I went crazy at that store. I also couldn't resist visiting another favorite jewelry and accessories store, Tinkerbell.

In my entire shopping spree I purchased 9 pairs of earrings, 4 rings, and 1 bracelet. In the picture below, it will show you all where each item was purchased and how much it cost.

Take a peek at the adorable jewelry I scored and let me know which piece is your favorite :)

I hope you enjoyed checking out my new additions to my jewelry collection. Until next time!

New e.o.s. Flavors!

Hey y'all! It feels like I haven't posted in eons! I've been super busy with school, work, and life. So today I went to the store and purchased a much of makeup and beauty products and I figured it would be the perfect thing to blog about!

So, these e.o.s. flavors may not be brand new to you all, but today I went to my local Target and found these three amazing e.o.s. flavors! I have looked everywhere for new flavors and just my luck that I find these yummy e.o.s. balms.

The Strawberry Sorbet e.o.s. balm was my first e.o.s. balm ever, and I loved it! After having it for a little over 1 month, I have noticed that the balm's flavor and scent has changed and weakened. I figured, why not try a few more flavors. So today I purchased Honeysuckle Honeydew, Sweet Mint, and Blueberry Açai at $2.99 a piece. My favorite out of the three is Honeysuckle Honeydew because it smells AND tastes like honeydew melon! It's a super sweet lip balm, I would definitely recommend it and all of the others.

Go out and try an e.o.s. for yourself! There are many other flavors to choose from :) Until next time!

This is it!

The day I have been waiting for, for over 12 years, the official first day of college, is today! I am so excited to be attending classes at ASU this fall! The whole concept of having different classes each day is a little new to me, but I'm sure that I will get used to it in time. Today's classes consist of only Introductory Sociology and the club fair that is towards the end of the day (yes, I know it isn't a class, but it is an extra thing that I am planning on staying on the campus for.)

Every year it is a tradition for me to take a picture of my school supplies and books that are needed for the year (or in my case, the semester).  So I wanted to share my school supply pictures with you!
I won't be labeling every single thing I have, just the important things.

So without further adeue, here is my collection of school supplies for this year!

My bag is from Steve Madden (my absolute favorite designer), originally priced at $189.00, and I purchased it at Marshall's for $39.99.

The books I will be using for this year are Intro to Sociology, Basic Calculus, BIO 182 book package, and The Lexus and the Olive Tree (for my Agribusiness class).

Well, I am off to school! Wish me luck! -FashionistaForever<3

Tech Talk Tuesday-Tuesday August 20, 2013

Hello and happy Tuesday! Today is the craziest day of the week for me. I am headed to ASU's main campus today for my college's assembly and the Sun Devil Welcome assembly. I will also be attending the Gavin DeGraw concert tonight after the Sun Devil Welcome session. Ahhhh! I can't wait for this crazy day to start! :D

Today's tech accessory is the one I will be using on my phone today.

This iPhone 4/4S case is a black and white zebra bling case that I purchased at a store called Rainbow (which is the new version of the store 5,7,9 ) for $1. These kind of bling cases are usually not cheap so I was super excited when I found out this case was only a dollar! Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. The first few days of using it a few gems came off when I put my phone in my shorts pocket and now the empty spaces are starting to grow the more I use it. The only reason I'm wearing it today is because I wanted to use a super blingy phone case since I won't be wearing that many accessories today.

I hope you all enjoyed today's Tech Talk Tuesday segment! I will (hopefully) be uploading a picture of my outfit of the day today and pictures from today's festivities, so keep an eye out for the posts that are to come! Until then! -FashionistaForever<3

Inspiring Messages from a Fellow Blogger

Many of you have probably heard about the YouTube made famous blogger and entrepreneur, Michelle Phan. But what some of you may not know is that her reason for publishing videos on YouTube is not just for pure enjoyment, but for making girls feel confident with themselves and making them know that it is okay to be yourself. I have recently discovered Michelle's video called "Underneath Your Love" and the message she was relaying through her video really hit home with me. I too am one of those girls that feels like I am not good enough for certain people and it often reflects from how I dress and act in public. I feel as if I had to reform to society to fit in with the crowd and to be noticed by the people that are "out of my league." Michelle has taught me and many other girls that you do not have to change to enhance who you really are and that there is never a need to change yourself for the benefit of someone else. No girl, or any person for that matter, should have to hide who they truly are.

Thank you to Michelle for reaching out and telling us, your viewers, that each of us are special and that we should stay true to ourselves, no matter what.

Don't be afraid to watch this and be inspired! Also, check out Michelle's blog to be further inspired.
(I do not own this video or any of Michelle Phan's material)

I hope you all enjoyed this post and were somewhat inspired to find a way to loose your "mask." I think it is only appropriate to end this post in the words of Michelle Phan..."good luck." -FashionistaForver<3

Sunday's festivities!

Hello my lovelies! Today (I wrote this on Sunday :P) I went to the Poly Kickback at my campus and I was sure to dress to impress. Even though the attire was casual, I wanted to make sure that my first impression was a good impression. Here is a little glimpse of what I wore tonight! :)

Black crochet tank by H&M. Grey washed jean shorts by Forever21. Black gem sandals by Payless. Earrings by Charming Charlie. Ring by Tinkerbell.

Hope you all had a great Sunday! -FashionistaForever<3

Makeup Monday-Monday, August 19, 2013

Hello and happy Monday! For today's Makeup Monday, I decided that I wanted to focus more on the tools used to apply the beautiful makeup that the world of beauty has to offer. So today I wanted to share my makeup brush collections with you!

I have two different brush collections, my nicer brushes that I use on a daily basis, and my extra/portable brushes that I keep as backup.

This collection of brushes is my nicer set of brushes. I purchased these brushes from Target, Ulta, and Big Lots (weird place to buy brushes, I know, but they have e.l.f. brushes there for $0.89!) I have (in order) an all over face brush, blush brush, sponge eyeshadow brush, blending brush, two regular eyeshadow brushes, a crease brush, defining eyeshadow brush, eyebrow and lash brush and a mini kit of portable brushes from Sephora.

This collection of brushes is my set of back up and portable brushes. The pop up set was my first set of real make up brushes and it was given to me for my birthday from a close friend. I believe she purchased it from Ulta. I loved how when you opened the case all of the brushes would come out in a line and the mirror would pop up for easy accessibility. Unfortunately the side plastic part attached to the fancy opening mechanism broke and I have to hold the two pieces of plastic together for it to open like it used to. The little brow brush below is an extra because the tongs on the back broke off from over use. The little baggie of mini brushes next to the brow brush came with my first set of makeup brushes. I never use them because they are not that good quality wise.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this week's Makeup Monday! I promise that next week's segment will not be about boring makeup brushes. Have a good Monday! Remember to make the best out of every day! -FashionistaForever

Style a Song

This week was the week for major releases from top artists on iTunes. The top two songs this week on iTunes are the two newest releases. In the number one spot is "Roar" by Katy Perry and in the number two spot is my forever favorite, Lady Gaga, with her new single "Applause" from her newest album Art Pop. I decided to celebrate these amazing songs by creating outfits that are either based off of the song itself or the album cover.

I decided that this was just too fun to do just this once so I think I might, if I have time, upload a new outfit each week for the the newest songs and albums. I hope you all enjoy today's looks!

This look was inspired by Lady Gaga's Art Pop album cover. I felt that the water color look to the flowers on the shirt somewhat matched the look of Gaga's album cover for this single. I added the pink and gold studded bangles to give it an artsy pop (yes, that was a shameless plug...) to this adorable shirt. I chose the gold key necklace to make the gold in the bangles pop against the shirt and it has just enough sparkle to make this outfit cute and trendy. And what is Lady Gaga without a little bling?

This trendy look was inspired by the new Katy Perry single, "Roar." I absolutely LOVE this song! The first time I listened to the song I was hooked! I immediately purchased it without thinking about it twice! The album to Katy's single has a variety of tones of pink purple and grey and I figured that I should include the details of her album cover to the outfit. I chose this grey rustic stone necklace and the matching earrings to add a little edginess to the shirt. After all, the album is the definition of funky and edgy.

Have you ever been obsessed with a song so much that you wish you could have that song be a track in your life soundtrack? Well, you can do just this by incorporating the style of the artist, album cover, or even the song to any outfit you have in your wardrobe. Try it out and see just how fun it is to style a song! Also, don't be afraid to check out the songs "Roar" by Katy Perry and "Applause" by Lady Gaga! Smooches! -FashionistaForever<3

College/Life Update :)

Hello everyone! Today marks one week away from the day I start attending classes at ASU and I am soooooooo excited! Even though I am not living in a dorm, I am still planning on taking part in all of the Fall Welcome activities that the school offers at each of its campuses. This next week is going to be crazy busy and crazy fun! Sunday is the day that the festivities start with the Poly Kickback which is just a hang out session at my campus for everyone to meet one another and check out the campus. Monday is the Electric Poly Craze, which is a huge loud, bright, and exciting dance party held at my campus so all of the students can just let go and have a blast! Tuesday is the longest day out of all of them. Tuesday morning I have to drive to my campus to get on a shuttle that takes us to the main campus in Tempe so that I can attend my college's private assembly (I'm in the School of Letters and Sciences :) ). After that private assembly all of the incoming freshmen and transfer students have to attend the Sun Devil Welcome which teaches us all about ASU's traditions and what fun things we have in store for us this year. After that we all are invited to go to the free Gavin DeGraw concert and spend the night rocking out with new friends. The following day, Wednesday,  I will be attending an exclusive meeting for the WISE program (Women In Science & Engineering.) Then after those four fun filled days, classes start on Thursday! Yayy! I can't wait! I'm sure I will not be loving studying all the time and having a lot of homework in the longrun, but at this moment, I am stoked to be going to ASU this fall.

I will be doing posts of my college adventures on here so be sure to keep your eyes peeled! Hope you all are enjoying the remainder of summer! If you are going back to school soon, or you have already started school, post below in the comment box what your goal is this year in school. Or if you don't want to do that just tell me what you are excited for this school year. Until next time!

Tech Talk Tuesday- Tuesday, July 23, 2013

Hello and happy Tuesday! Today I wanted to share another iPhone case that is another absolute favorite of mine.

Today's case is my melted ice cream case that I purchased from Amazon.com. It is teal and salmon colored and it is a two piece case. It is super easy to put on and take off of my iPhone and it is super durable and protective.

The reason why I chose to show you this case today is because it is a very summery/springy case and I find that retail stores don't have that many choices for summer iPhone 4 cases.

If you are ever looking for a cute and inexpensive phone case, no matter the model of age of your phone, you should peruse around eBay.com and Amazon.com for the most adorable and affordable cases. Remember, you don't have to be rich to be fashionable.

I hope you liked today's case! Until next Tuesday! -FashionistaForever<3

Crazy Closets is back!

Hello lovelies! I have a surprise for you all! My Crazy Closets segment is back and for a limited time only! I know how cheesy that sounds, almost infomercial like, but it is true! I told you all at the start of this blog that I would show you different sized closets and then my own. I showed you three different sizes of closets I believe, but I did not do a post about MY closet :)

I recently decided to reorganize my closet and I figured that I should do a before and after post to show you all, my lovely readers, just how easy it is to get organized.

So, without further adieu, here is my closet! Well the first two racks of it anyway...I haven't completely finished organizing my closet. I will make another post once everything is organized :)

Rest In Peace Talia

It is with a heavy heart that I write this post for you all to see. Talia Joy Castellano, an amazing 13 year old girl/makeup guru, lost her battle with cancer today at 11:22 am. She was an amazing little girl who touched so many hearts. Please take a moment in your day to bow your head and say a prayer for her mother and sister that have survived her. Talia, you will be missed! Even though you are in heaven, I know you will "just keep swimming." We will always love and remember you <3

Tech Talk Tuesday!- Tuesday, July 16, 2013

Hello and happy Tuesday! In last Wednesday's post, I said that I would be starting an all new segment today. And after a week of waiting, here it is! This new segment is about, you guessed it, tech accessories! Every Tuesday I will be posting one of my favorite tech accessories. I was going to post a picture of my entire collection, but I figured it would ruin the excitement of seeing a new tech accessory each Tuesday.

So today I will be starting this Tech Talk Tuesday off with my favorite iPhone 4 case. This is the case I use most on my phone. It is super cute, super durable, and I love it!

I purchased this case from Amazon.com for $3.50 with free shipping. This case did not come with a tool to remove it from my phone so it is not that easy to get off of my phone. But, it is super cute and it goes with a lot so it is okay to keep it on for longer than a day. Also, this phone case is super durable! It has not yet lost a gem (and I have had this case since January) and I have dropped it several times and it has protected my phone without leaving a single scratch on both the phone and the case.

I love this case because it is super girly and sparkly, yet it has a meaning to me. The lamb on the case represents when I was in FFA and I raised my first lamb, Lady Baa Baa (awesome name, I know). The rhinestones on this case also made me think of her because she could not stay away from anything that sparkled. Unfortunately I had to sell her, but I was still able to have the memories of her with me by having this phone case on my phone.

This is only one of my 20+ cases, so make sure to keep up with this segment every Tuesday to see a new case every day! Until next time! -FashionistaForever<3

DIY Jewelry!

Have you ever seen a piece of jewelry in the store that you just couldn't afford? Or even a piece of jewelry that looks like it is something you could make and you don't want to pay the high retail price for it? If you have experienced either of these, you could try making your own jewelry!

Don't know where to start? It's easy! Just go to your local craft store and go to the beading and jewelry department and ask one of the sales associates for advice on what you will need to purchase in order to start making your own jewelry.

I'm not going to explain how to make each of these pieces on this post, but I will tell you where each thing came from and how cute each of them are!

The first necklace is an adorable classy looking necklace with gold details. I purchased a pear chain from Hobby Lobby and the bottom part with the clear and turquoise beads is also from Hobby Lobby. I love this necklace because it is super cute and edgy with a hint of classiness. I absolutely love the turquoise beads! They add just the right amount of color to an outfit.

The second necklace is a mod-chique black and white necklace that I put together from a chain purchased from Hobby Lobby and the bottom floral peice I also purchased from Hobby Lobby. I love this necklace because it is three dimentional and the black and white flowers are perfect for a pop of a nutral color for any outfit.

This last necklace is smaller and more simple, but the geometrical shapes in three different colors is sure to give any outfit a fun flare of color and shape. I purchased the chain from Hobby Lobby (yes all of the chains and main pieces are pre-made) and the center piece from Michael's. I absolutely love this necklace because of its fun and funky style!

All three of these pieces cost me a total of $13. These necklaces would have cost me over $30 to purchase pre-made from any retail store.

I am so happy that I have shared my DIY jewelry secrets with you! I hope you all enjoyed!

Happy Wednesday!

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday! :D I hope that everyone's weeks have been going well so far. If not, just remember the 1/2 mark of the week is here! I know you all are probably thinking, why are you posting so early in the morning (it is 12:47 am here :P)? The answer to that marvelous question is  that I happen to be more awake and active at night. I also have my best thoughts before bed. Tonight I was thinking about my post from Sunday and I reallyyyyy want to try out a YouTube channel for my blog. I think that I might try it out and film a few videos, but I'm still super torn! I could really use some of your amazing advice! If you would like to help, you can comment below this post telling me whether or not I should start a channel for this blog. Also, if you were to feel so inclined, you can also post a few pros or cons that support your advice. Thank you for your advice and support and thank you for putting up with my crazy rambling! Scentsational Sunday!- Sunday, July 7, 2013

Yay! It is finally the end of the week! Congratulations to you all for making it through the week! Today I would like to admit something to you all.... I am feeling Berry Flirtatious. Yes, I said it, and I am not ashamed of it. I could not choose just one scent for this Scentsational Sunday, so I chose to show you an entire berry-licious collection!

This collection is called The Sweethearts collection and this is my absolute favorite scent of the collection! It is called Berry Flirt by Bath & Body Works. I loved this scent so much that I bought both the lotion AND the body spray. I have honestly never done that before with my other scents!

I can seriously smell the lush dark berries and blond woods that are in these products! Okay, I'll stop obsessing over this scent and let you all go find it and try it out!

Until next time! -FashionistaForever<3

I've Been Thinking...

Dangerous, I know, but I have been thinking about ways to become more involved in the world of fashion and such. I am thinking of making a YouTube channel for this blog where I can do makeup tutorials, clothing hauls, and show you all my favorite clothing and accessory collections. I would post the videos or the links to my blog segments so that you all could be up to date with everything without having to write every single little detail of my segments on here. Instead I could just speak and show you everything I have planned to show you. I've been thinking about it for some time but, I'm just not sure yet :/ If you could, please leave a comment below telling me whether or not I should start a YouTube channel for this blog. I would be forever greatful for your advice! Thanks!

Shoetastic Saturday! - Saturday, July 6, 2013

In honor of Shoetastic Saturday, I would like to share with you my newest and nicest pair of shoes! These are seriously the most high-end shoes I have ever purchased! These beauties cost me a mere $25, which may not sound like a lot to you, but they are some of the most expensive shoes I have ever purchased (not including my prom shoes :) .)  I hope like these as much as I do!

Okay, so these are by Steve Madden (my all time favorite designer!) and they are a cute gladiator styled sandal. The materials they are made of are soft leather and sueded leather. These were originally priced at $79 but I purchased these at DSW for only $25! They were priced at $49.95  in the clearance section of DSW and it had an extra 40% off of that clearance price. I also had a $5 coupon which made it come out to $25. That's almost a 75% savings! I absolutely LOVE how these shoes look!

The next time you are in a clothing store or shoe store, don't be afraid to head to the clearance section first. It just might save you a lot of money and time searching for the perfect item at a reasonable price.

I hope you all enjoyed this segment! Until next time! -FashionistaForever<3

Topsy-Turvy Trend Thursday- Thursday, June 27, 2013

Hello! I hope you all have read my previous announcement about "Topsy-Turvy Trend Tuesdays" turning into "Topsy-Turvy Trend Thursdays." I hope that you all will understand that this change was made for the best. It was made to both better this segment and to heighten your level of enjoyment when reading this segment. It does take me some time to look up some of the craziest trends that are going on in today's society, so I hope that this extra time will allow me to find some strange and unique trends for you all to see and enjoy.

Today's trend is the newly seen trend brought to us from Japan. This trend is patterned leggings and tights. These tights can range from a small cat face design at the spot where the kneecap should be (otherwise known as tattoo tights) to the strange and extreme space leggings that are being seen all over the world. These tights can be found in almost any pattern available! However, where to find them is another story. It is rare to see these tights in a store, but it is possible. I have seen the space leggings in stores like Forever21 and Q. The other printed tights and leggings are a bit harder to purchase. You would either have to order them from an online store that carries them or travel all the way to Japan to purchase a pair. If any of you are interested in purchasing a pair of these tights, I will post a link or two below.

I hope that you have enjoyed this segment today! I know I sure have! Until next Thursday x -FashionisaForever<3

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my ever-so-fabulous mother's birthday! This means that I will not be posting a lot today. No offense  to you, my lovely readers, but I would rather spend this special day with my family than being hunched over my iPad, blogging away. Everything that will post today is on an automatic schedule, so please don't think that I am just too lazy to get on and blog. Thank you all for understanding!

Lots of love! -FashionistaForever<3

Shop-happy Sunday

So today my family and I all went to the new outlet mall to see what stores and deals they had. We arrived at the mall to see that all of the stores were to be considered "upper class" stores. And me having a "champagne taste on a beer budget" could not afford much of what was for sale at these fancy stores. My favorite stores to glance at were Michael Kors, Coach, Charlotte Russe, and GUESS. But of course, I can't go to a mall without getting something. So I went in to the Old Navy outlet and browsed around, eventually selecting a few things to try on. I ended up purchasing the items below. Two pairs of flip flops and a coral tank top. I never like to say this about a mall, but that outlet mall was the absolute WORST outlet mall I have ever been to. Alright, enough ranting, I am just glad that I found a few things to add to my closet :)

Until next time! -FashionistaForever<3

Scent-sational Sunday... for MEN!

So I was reading through my post from earlier today and I realized that I have only catered to the female perspective. How dare I, I know....So, I have decided to make a little add on to my previous segment. This add on will be a guide for you lovely gentlemen who are lost in finding a scent that suits you. Now, I am no expert on men and what they like so I will leave it up to this nifty guide below for you lovely men to read through and figure out which scent would suit you. And no, they do not have Dr. Pepper cologne, sorry boys.

What is the difference between aftershave and cologne?

What scent suits you? Take the quiz below!

I hope you all enjoy! -FashionistaForever<3

Scent-sational Sunday! Sunday, June 23, 2013

Hello and congratulations for making it through the week! Today is Sunday, June 23, 2013 and it is a glorious day! Today is the first day that I have had off at work all week! It's too bad that Sunday feels like the shortest day of the week :(

Even though Sundays feel slow, short, and suckish I am going to try to make the best of it by introducing you to my all-time favorite scent. It is a scent that can still be purchased in stores, so if you think that it would suit you (based on my short description) go try it out and see if it is the scent for you!

Today's scent is called Love Spell. I purchased this body spray from Victoria's Secret for, I believe, $22. I know it sounds like a lot to spend on a body spray, but it is my absolute favorite spray, I use it every single day! I had a previous perfume that smelled just like Love Spell, but it was discontinued. Distraught  by this news, I went on a long search for something that smelled similar but not too strong. The previous perfume and Love Spell have the scents of cherry blossom, pear and a hint of apple. My skin can not handle scents that our flowery or musky, so I have to wear fruity or light scents.

Now that I have shared my all-time favorite body spray with you all, I hope that each of you will decide to become a little bold and try out some new scents. Who knows, you might even find one that you will end up loving forever!

I hope you enjoyed today's segment. Enjoy your Sunday! -FashionistaForever<3

Shoe-tastic Saturday! Saturday, June 22, 2013

Okay, okay.  I know this is cutting it a tad late, but I wanted to be able to share a pair of my favorite shoes with you this week. I know that the shoes that I have been showing are not exactly shoes for this season, but they are my all-time favorite and I feel that I need to share their beauty with you, my lovely readers. So without further adue, here we go!

This week's pair of shoes are a pair of plum ankle boots with gold zippers and 3 3/4 inch heels. The were bought at Forever21 for the astonishing price of $17.95! These shoes were originally priced at $39.95. The minute I saw these shoes, I knew they would soon be mine. Unfortunately, I found them when they were being sold at the original price and I was broke. So I waited a month or two and returned to the store with hopes that they were still there. Lonebehold they were sitting on the clearance shelf, in perfect condition, and in my size! I knew that these shoes were meant to be, and so after the long two months of waiting, I bought the shoes and took them home, only to find the perfect spot for them to be displayed in my closet.

I hope that you all aren't too disapointed with today's segment. I promise that I will make it up to you next Saturday. Maybe I will even show you not one but TWO pairs of my alltime favorite shoes....

Until next time! -FashionistaForever<3

Fashion Find Friday! Friday, June 21, 2013

I know, I'm a terrible blogger. I keep forgetting to blog :( I have been trying to think of a few ways that would make remebering to blog every day easier, one of these ways is scheduling future blog posts, and the other is making my fashion finds segment a Friday only statement. Now, I know I probably won't stick with only showing you lovely people my fashion finds soley on Fridays, but I am going to attempt to do so. Today I will be showing you a few items that I have tried on or bought today at JCPenny. So, without further adue, here we go!

I woke up super early today so I decided to go shopping for a few hours before work. So I stood in the mini line to get into JCPenny (this was the small pre-opening line). The banners labeled "SHOP!", "SALE!", and "CLEARANCE" screamed for me to admire each peice of discounted clothing. How can one resist the fine smell of retail in the morning? I sure know that I can't. The two items seen in the picture below were the first two items I tried on. The button-down tank top in the blue and green cheetah print was adorable and afordable, unfortunately, I did not think that it looked right with the glow of my paper white skin. The blue v-neck t-shirt in this picture was something that I was so glad to find. For some reason, I have the hardest time finding the basics. This blue is my absolute favorite shade of blue. It really makes my eyes pop and the color of the shirt makes my hair look brighter and more shiny. This shirt actually made me think of a future segment for my blog. It will be titled "What Works with Your Body?" if you are interested in reading it. Anyways, back to this segment...I fell in love with this blue shirt and another more elegant black and yellow-green babydoll tank top. I did not want to include this shirt in these pictures because I was planning on revealing it on the next Fashion Find Friday.

Well, I have to head to work now, I hope you all have a fabulous Friday! -FashionistaForever<3

Makeup Monday (Continued)- Monday, June 17, 2013

(continuation of Makeup Monday- Monday, June 17, 2013)

The bottom section of my cabootle holds all of my eyeshadows and blushes. I can't recall where I got most of it, but the one pallet with the greys and purples I got at Target and it is a Maybelene pallet. I believe it was around $4 in price. The shimmery pallet to the left of it I got at the Dollar Tree by my house, I believe is is NYC eyeshadow. Above that pallet is a pot of blush from Ulta in "Bashful Blush" pink. Next to the pot of blush is my loose eye shadow from Hot Topic and it is in the color "Midnight Mischief". This is a special edition glittery silver loose powder that was for Twilight: New Moon. It was the color worn by Dakota Fanning, who played Jane in the movie New Moon.  Next to that is a shade stick from Neutrogena. I believe this particular blue shade was about $7.

I also have another case of potted eyeshadow, most of it is from Ulta or Sephora.

The last kit of eyeshadow that I own is a kit I got from Ulta, this kit was $19 on sale and it was originally $65. This entire kit is all eyeshadow and liquid pots of eyeliner. The lid also came imbedded with 5 different colored eyeliners and two different eyeshadow brushes. I absolutely love this kit because it has nearly every color possible and it is portable!

Well, until next Monday makeup lovers! I hope you enjoyed this segment! -FashionistaForever<3

Makeup Monday- Monday, June 17, 2013

Happy Monday everyone! Today is the first day of my new segment, Makeup Monday! I decided to do this segment for all of the makeup lovers out there. After all, makeup is a large part of fashion. To start this segment off I will be showing you, my readers, my makeup collection. Yes, I do have a lot of makeup, and no, I did not buy it all at one time. I have been collecting makeup for about 4 years. I will not be dissecting each peice in my makeup collection, but I will tell you about a few of my favorite brands that you can see. Each Monday I will post a different makeup design and a picture of the products I used. I hope you all will enjoy seeing my collection! Maybe it will inspire you to try out some of the brands I use.

So this first picture is of my e.l.f. (eyes, lips, face) pallet. I got this about a week ago at Big Lots for $9.95, it was originally priced $15 at Target. I love this pallet because it has the bright spring/summer colors that are hard to find in any other pallets. I believe it has 100 different shades of eyeshadow in this pallet.

This next picture is of the top part of my caboodle (makeup carry case.) The top compartment of my caboodle holds all of my lipsticks (for the exception of the two I use daily) and a few of my favorite lip-glosses from Sephora and Ulta. The bright pink tube is Maybelene's Baby Lips in the color Grapefruit Pink. The silver tube is Wet & Wild's Precious Pink lip color, you can get these at Walmart, Ulta, Target, or any other drug store. Next to the silver tube is my MAC Viva Glam by Lady Gaga lipstick in a bright pink color. This MAC lipstick was limited edition and it came in a nude color as well as the pink color. The other lipsticks came in a kit from Sephora.

I keep my eyeliners and makeup brushes in the compartment below the lipstick compartment. None of my eyeliners are visible for the exception of the three liquid glitter liners on the far right side of the compartment. At the very top of the compartment I have my two favorite brushes, one is an eyeshadow brush and the other is a defining brush. Both brushes were bought at Big Lots and they are both the brand e.l.f. The two sparkly eyeshadow brushes are also the brand e.l.f. but they were bought at Target  during Christmas time. The rest of the brushes in the compartment came in a kit from Sephora. (continued on next post...)
